Board of Selectors
A. The Board.
- The Board of Selectors (“Board”) consists of 5 Selectors serving staggered 5-season terms.
B. Candidates.
- Any team owner (“Owner”) or member of the press (“Press Member”) may be nominated as a Selector candidate.
- Any individual nominated more than once under multiple accounts (i.e., press name and team owner name) must withdraw all but one of his accounts from consideration.
C. Voting.
- Owners who have served at least 1 full season are eligible to vote on Selectors.
- The Selector candidate with the highest number of votes will join the Board for a 5-season term.
- If there are any vacancies on the Board (i.e., due to retirement), the Selector candidate with the next highest number of votes will join the Board as a replacement and will serve out the remainder of the vacant Selector’s term.
- New Selector(s) will be announced before the start of Free Agency.

Hall of Fame Selection Process
A. Nominees.
- Any player or coach who has been retired for at least 2 seasons is eligible for the Hall of Fame.
- Any Owner or Press Member may nominate any eligible player or coach.
- Nominations must be received before the start of Free Agency.
B. Finalists.
- The Board will select up to 5 Hall of Fame finalists (“Finalists”) from the list of nominees. The process for selecting Finalists may vary depending on the number of nominees under consideration.
- The Board will appoint a writer or several writers to write short biographies for each Finalist to be published on the forums.
- Finalists will be announced before Week 1 of the Regular Season.
C. Selection.
- A Finalist must receive at least 80 percent approval of the Board before he can be elected into the Hall of Fame.
- A Selector may (but is not required to) abstain from voting on a Finalist due to an actual or perceived conflict of interest. If a Selector abstains, the Board at its discretion may invite a substitute Selector to vote on a Finalist. At least 5 Selectors or substitute Selectors must vote on each Finalist.
- The Board will appoint a writer or several writers to write detailed biographies for each Hall of Fame inductee to be published on the forums and the website.
- Hall of Fame inductees will be announced at the conclusion of the Virtual Bowl.
D. Amendments.
- Any amendments to the Selection Process must receive at least 80 percent approval of the Board.
